Principles of Real Estate

Salesperson applicants not licensed in another state must complete a 30-hour “Principles of Real Estate” course to take the salesperson’s exam.  The course will expire 12 months from the course date.

Kansas Practice Course

All salesperson applicants must complete a 30-hour "Kansas Practice Course."  The Commission must receive the license application and course certificate within six months of the course date.

Kansas Real Estate Broker Fundamentals Course

Broker applicants not licensed in another state must complete a 30-hour "Kansas Real Estate Broker Fundamentals Course" to take the broker’s exam.  The course will expire 12 months from the course date.

Kansas Real Estate Broker Management Course

All broker applicants must complete a 30-hour "Kansas Real Estate Broker Management Course."  The Commission must receive the license application and course certificate within six months of the course date.

Kansas Law Course

Broker applicants with a current license in another state must also complete a 4-hour "Kansas Law Course."  The Commission must receive the license application and course certificate within six months of the course date.
